PAIR-UP, a dynamic community of imaging scientists, is partnering with the Center for Quantitative Cell Imaging (CQCI) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison to host an intensive, hands-on imaging boot camp. This initiative is designed to empower and advance the careers of Black imaging scientists by providing cutting-edge training, access to advanced microscopy technologies, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative and supportive environment.


What You'll Learn:
 

  1. Master the fundamentals of optical imaging 

  2. Learn how to build a simple microscope 

  3. Explore advanced techniques such as Lightsheet, SIM, FLIM and more

  4. Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art microscopes 

  5. Apply imaging approaches directly to your biomedical research

  6. Learn the fundamentals of Image Analysis  

 

Who Should Attend?

​​

  • Candidates who use light microscopy.

  • Graduate students and Postdocs interested in the fundamentals of optical imaging.

Accepted applicants will have travel and lodging covered
